This New Braunfel’s get-a-way is an ideal resort accommodation for any New Braunfels’ vacation destination! “Terrace on the Gruene” is an elegant corner condo with easy ground-floor access via an elevator and uninterrupted views of the Guadalupe River. Right in Historic Gruene, you can leave your car behind and walk to the nearby attractions including: Gruene Hall built in 1878 and birthplace of such musicians as George Strait, Jerry Jeff Walker, Lyle Lovett, Robert Earl Keen, and many more; the Gristmill Restaurant; unique shopping, dining, entertainment, and river activities. Or, quietly enjoy the beautiful Texas sunset on the private deck, with French doors from the living room and the master bedroom that open to a pristine view of the Guadalupe River below the tree canopy. Walk the beautiful path down to the river for a restful picnic at the river’s edge. Relax by the pool and waterfall, or go tubing with easy water access to the Guadalupe. This lovely condo will sleep a minimum of 8 in beds, NOT AIR MATTRESSES. There are 3 bedrooms with the following configurations: Master – 1 King bed, 2nd – 1 Queen bed, 3rd – bunk bed full/ twin, with a pull-out twin trundle, 2 twin roll-a-way beds , additionally the traditional sofa will sleep 1, all this still leaving plenty of room for a couple of air mattresses, 1 – infant/toddler playpen/bed; two full baths, tile floors throughout, beautiful kitchen with granite and stainless, side by side refrigerator/freezer with an ice maker in the door, a flat top stove/oven, dish washer, and service for 12, complete with cookware to prepare simple or gourmet meals, compact stacked washer and dryer.
All of the New Braunfels activities and attractions are just 10 minutes away.
You’ll enjoy the easy access to the private pool with waterfall and hot tub, barbeque areas, river, and Historic Gruene. There will be wristbands as well to wear while you are in the pool area or down by the river. That way security knows you are a guest. If you want to venture away from Gruene, New Braunfels is only a 5-10 minute drive, as well as other area attractions. With all of this, you CAN create your perfect vacation.
Area Attractions:
The Texas Hill Country is known for the Guadalupe and Comal rivers, historic villages, great Mexican, German and BBQ cuisines, tubing the Guadalupe from Canyon Lake to Gruene, Texas, boating, jet skiing, wake boarding and fishing are some of the favorite water sports at Canyon Lake and Lakes Dunlap, Placid, and McQueeney. Downtown New Braunfels has vintage shopping for antiques, clothing, fun gifts and wonderful restaurants such as Huisache Grill. Schlitterbahn Waterpark is the number one rated waterpark in the nation according to the Travel Channel. Landa Park has two swimming pools, playgrounds, swimming holes, golf, miniature train station and golf and numerous road races such as the Jingle Bell Run and the Wurst Five Mile Run. The Comal River is a two mile spring fed river which stays the same temperature all year round and is known for scuba diving, snorkelling and the wild and crazy Tube Chute. Natural Bridge Caverns and Wildlife Ranch are fun for the kids, as well at the McKenna Children's Museum. Numerous museums are in the downtown museum district of New Braunfels.

Lately we have had a series of guests that have acted in a loud and very boisterous drunken manner. The condos are a very exclusive, expensive project right under the noses of the neighbouring businesses. Other lodging establishments nearby have complained repeatedly, almost every weekend, especially on the left side of our units, If you feel that you cannot control your group, please do not book with A1Vacation New Braunfels. This is an absolute zero tolerance for lewd and drunken behavior. If the security or the police are called to intervene, you will lose your deposit.
Parking Instructions:
When you arrive, please park in the numbered slot assigned to your condo. You will have one unmarked spot as well. Immediately go to your condo and place the allotted tags on your vehicles rear view mirrors. Put your condo number on the tag, your dates and your last name on the tag. If you have extra vehicles, you cannot park them anywhere in the parking lot of the condos or between the condos and the little music store, but within a short walk, there are public parking lots.
