Our guests have nice things to say about their New Braunfels Getaway!

We just stayed at the new Village at Gruene condos and it was very nice experience. We rented two condos side by side on the third floor and the views were great. The interior design and flat screen TVs made these condos the nicest places we have ever stayed. WOW! We will be back this summer when we can enjoy the river and the pool. Thanks so Raquel and Susan for helping with our reservations and they were very patient.

We had a family holiday at Bougan-Villa and Rose Cottage and it was a perfect location for all the kids. They went and did their own thing while the adults could nap and relax and not worry about their safety at Surfenburg. Loved the covered swings and cute backyard. There was alot going on and it was fun being in the middle of all the action. The older kids walked to the Tube Chute and spent all day going through it over and over. We left our camera charger and Susan was nice to return it to us for no charge. We love Vacation New Braunfels and will be back next summer. The Jones/Holland familes, Dallas, Texas

The Heroes on the Water program can’t thank you enough for helping us house injured soldiers from Ft Hood. The accommodations were incredible, and we had tons of great comments about the house from both the soldiers and volunteers. The house is on one of the top fishing spots on the river, with easy access. The lawn has plenty of room for teaching fly fishing and the river is perfect for kayak fishing, especially for folks new to the sport. Your support made this event very successful, and we can’t wait to come back for another outing.

Betsy's Bungalow and Daniel's Den

Thanks a lot !!!!! You guys have been just great. We were not lucky with the weather but all the rest was superb. Both houses are very well equipped and very much welcoming.

I could only wish that all the rental folks in New Braunfels were as kind, caring and concerned as Susan Phillips from a1vacationnewbraunfels.com. She definitely went above and beyond for your city yesterday. As a last resort I called Susan yesterday to explain that my vacation rental property for next week had been cancelled due to faulty plumbing. We had rented through another property and they told me they had nothing else available. I can assure you that I made over 50 phone calls to every property management company I could find in a 25 mile area around NB to no avail until I reached her. She told me they had no properties available but when I told her my situation she took it upon yourself to help me out and send a broadcast email to everyone she knew. I sincerely appreciate it and am happy to let you know that my group of 12 will make our trip next week and we actually rented a house on the river. We are staying next week in another property. I don't recall the name of the wonderful lady that worked with me there but she as well went out of her way to ensure my party would have a place to stay next week. To all these wonderful folks I say thank you. It's nice to experience kind folks in our very busy lives.

The house was very nice for our family of 11 for Thanksgiving. It was large enough that everyone had a bed to sleep in and enough space. We saw deer in the yard every day. It was very peaceful. Kristi from Houston

Your Villa on the 4th Crossing fit our families perfectly. As each family arrived, they rwere enthralled with the spaciousness and beauty of the villa and riverfront setting. From the comfy beds to the well appointed amenities, all 18 of us were thrilled to feel the welcoming comfort in this home away from home. Even though the weather was a little cool we were still able to enjoy both decks and paddled up and down the Guadalupe in our kayaks. So many good memories were made here this Easter weekend. Thank you for helping to make our family reunion a huge success. I truly wish we didn't have to cut our visit short. I certainly could have used one more day of relaxation. It was best, though, we got Dad home, to his doctor (upper respiratory infection) and into his own bed.

We moved to the NB area from up north in November and brought our seven kids with us. We were not able to find work right away and Susan allowed us to live at her personal property for three months and we were able to pay her back in February. She gave us a very generous cash donation at Christmas so the kids were able to have gifts! Living by FAITH and God provided for all of us. Raquel invited us to her church so we felt so loved. The A1 Vacation New Braunfels staff was so kind to us during the hurricane. They gave us half off the already discounted price and were so compassionate. We had our wedding at Betsy's Bungalow & Daniel's Den last month and we had a wonderful time! Susan personally came out and made sure that all went well. The grooms party stayed in Daniel's Den and the ladies in Betsy's Bungalow so they bride and groom would not see each other the day of the wedding. A ski boat went by and honked as we said our vows. I just wanted to tell all of you how much we enjoyed staying at the Villa on the 4th Crossing over Easter Weekend 2009.

The house is so great because it accommodated our whole extended family (all 18 of us!) without anybody feeling cramped. Having four full bathrooms is so great with a large family. The wide open kitchen and family room with the big screen TV made it so easy for our family to be together.

As much as we loved the house we enjoyed the big patio deck and the deck by the river even more! We kayaked in the river and had a great time with the kids.

The location of the Villa on the 4th Crossing is ideal because it is close to the rafting companies and restaurants but still feels secluded.

Thank you all again for providing our family with the perfect place to reunite and renew our family bonds. The memories we made will be priceless.
