The Texas Hill Country is known for it's rivers, historic villages, great Mexican, German and BBQ cuisines. Tubing the Guadalupe from Canyon Lake to Gruene, Texas. Boating, jet skiing, wake boarding and fishing are the favorite water sports at Canyon Lake and Lakes Dunlap, Placid, McQueeney. Canyon Lake Vacation Homes are either waterfront or perched high up on the Canyon Lake hills for incredible views. River Road Vacation Homes are on the Guadalupe River surrounded by river outfitters who can guide river rafting trips, tubing expeditions or fly fishing fun. Downtown New Braunfels has vintage shopping for antiques, clothing, fun gifts and wonderful restaurants such as Huisache Grill. Schlitterbahn Waterpark is the number one rated waterpark in the nation according to the Travel Channel.
