The beautiful New Braunfels Getaway, the Gruene River Condo at The Village At Gruene is newly built. Ready for a wonderful weekend (or longer) stay on the Guadalupe River in downtown Gruene. Choose between a cool dip in the Guadalupe River or a splash in the pool. Located right next door to the large Antique store and the Gruene River Grill is next to that----just a few steps from your door.

Being on the third floor , so you’ll have the advantage of a wonderful view of the river from the balcony at the rear of the unit, a view of the pool from the front , plus the privacy of being located at the end.

This unit has three bedrooms, two full baths, beautiful kitchen with black granite counter tops, side by side refrigerator/freezer with an ice maker in the door, a flat top stove , a dish washer, and probably more dishes and cookware than you’ll need. We’ll also have a chilled bottle of wine in the refrigerator and gourmet coffee awaiting your arrival.

The master bedroom has French doors to the balcony overlooking the river and a king size bed with a brand new pillow top mattress. The other two bedrooms each have two twin beds with new pillow top mattresses also, plus you’ll find air mattresses and additional twin mattresses so the condo can sleep 8.

The living room has two leather couches, one is almost 8 feet long and very comfortable to sleep on, but doesn’t open up. The love seat would be long enough for a child to sleep on, so this unit “could” sleep 10.

There are wall mounted TVs in every room with cable and two have VCR’s. Our bathrooms each have a tub/shower, Bath & Body products, hair dryers, and plenty of soft towels

For those who are particular about the linens, we have “long grain”, 600 thread count, 100% Egyptian Cotton sheets, and the proof is in not only how comfortable they are, but how “wrinkled” they are !!

This unit is also filled with original art by local artists and is for sale upon request.

Everything is new, bright, shiny and colorful and we think you’ll enjoy your visit. Also, if you have a need/want we haven’t thought of, we have phone numbers in the unit where you can call us and we’ll be more than happy to assist you !!! We aim to please !!!

Parking Instructions:
When you arrive, please park in the numbered slot assigned to your condo. You will have one unmarked spot as well. Immediately go to your condo and place the alloted tags on your vehicles rear view mirrors. Put your condo number on the tag, your dates and your last name on the tag. If you have extra vehicles, you cannot park them anywhere in the parking lot of the condos or between the condos and the little music store. Just park in one of Gruene's public parking lots. There will be wristbands as well to wear while you are in the pool area or down by the river. That way security knows you are a guest.

The Texas Hill Country is known for the Guadalupe and Comal rivers, historic villages, great Mexican, German and BBQ cuisines. Tubing the Guadalupe from Canyon Lake to Gruene, Texas. Boating, jet skiing, wake boarding and fishing are the favorite water sports at Canyon Lake and Lakes Dunlap, Placid, McQueeney. Canyon Lake Vacation Homes are either waterfront or perched high up on the Canyon Lake hills for incredible views. River Road Vacation Homes are on the Guadalupe River surrounded by river outfitters who can guide river rafting trips, tubing expeditions or fly fishing fun. Downtown New Braunfels has vintage shopping for antiques, clothing, fun gifts and wonderful restaurants such as Huisache Grill. Schlitterbahn Waterpark is the number one rated waterpark in the nation according to the Travel Channel. Landa Park has two swimming pools, playgrounds, swimming holes, golf, miniature train station and golf and numerous road races such as the Jingle Bell Run (begun by Susan Phillips, the owner of A1Vacation New Braunfels) and the Wurst Five Mile Run. The Comal River is a two mile spring fed river which stays the same temperature all year round and is known for scuba diving, snorkling and the wild and crazy Tube Chute. Natural Bridge Caverns and Wildlife Ranch are fun for the kids as well at the McKenna Children's Museum. Numerous museums are in the downtown museum district.
